Google has updated their 'Google Accounts' page some time ago, this time with an interesting feature. When you subscribe for a Google Account, which entitles you to the use of Google Alerts, Froogle Shopping List, Google Groups, My Search History, and most of all GMail.
Now you don't have to wait to get an invite for a GMail account.
