I live in an area where we have some of the most dangerous snakes in the US, when you're out in the woods you learn watch where you're going and stepping, because you wouldn't want to step on a Copperhead or Cottonmouth. I just learned about a new snake today, it is called 'Chrysopelea', also known as the 'Flying Tree Snake'.
This snake doesn't really fly, but glides from tree to tree. I am thankful, that these snakes are not in my area, they're indigenous to South and Southeast Asia. I could not find an accurate reference to find out if they're venomous.
