Tech News on ZDNet reports: "Microsoft will build software for managing identities into Windows in order to beef up security by giving users more control over their personal information".
The new ID technology is being called 'info-cards,' its suppose to give users control over their own personal information when accessing online services.
Personally, I wonder how well this technology will be accepted. It could be another big Microsoft flop, or it could take off like wildfire. It all depends on two things, one what developers do with the technology, and two if consumers see value in using it.
