IBM pours a shot of methanol for ThinkPads (Article)

CNET News.com reports: "IBM and Sanyo Electric have put together a prototype of a fuel cell system for ThinkPad notebooks."

Fuel cells being used to power laptops is not a new idea, but it is great to see that the technology finally coming to the market. The methanol-based fuel cell are designed to provide power for laptop for up to eight hours.
